ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A driver was killed and an injured passenger was extracted after 45 minutes when a car “vaulted” from a ditch into a Walgreens in Ann Arbor, officials said. A vehicle was traveling south on Huron Parkway when it left the road near Asher Road, Ann Arbor police said. Officials said the driver, identified as Otis Jones, 82, of Ann Arbor, was killed in the crash. Firefighters spent 45 minutes extricating the front seat passenger, a 77-year-old Ann Arbor woman who was “significantly pinned” in the vehicle.
