Despite the risk of being infected at the gathering, Mendy was named as a substitute for Sunday's game at Chelsea where City was one player short on the bench. “The club is aware of a New Year’s Eve COVID-19 breach involving Benjamin Mendy and the subsequent media reporting of it," City said. "Ben has had a COVID test and is liaising with Manchester City about this.”Mendy has tweeted urging people “to take care of you and yours” as midnight approached on Thursday night.

DETROIT – Ben and Perry Feigenson introduced the first version of what would become a Detroit staple on Nov. 4, 1907, when the bakers created a beverage based off their frosting flavors. The brothers also started referring to the drinks as pop because of the sound the bottles made when opened. The beverage was sold under the name Feigenson Brothers Bottling Works until 1920, when the company was changed to the Feigenson Brothers Company. The next year, the brothers decided the name was too long to put on glass bottles, and shortened it to Faygo. There are now more than 50 Faygo flavors available.

An Australian mom who was born with two vaginas and told shed have a tough time getting pregnant has beaten the odds and given birth to four babies. Lauren Cotter, 34, found out she had two vaginas and two reproductive systems after having particularly bad periods as a teen. Although she had surgery to remove the divide between her two vaginas, because her uterus was still split, doctors told her the chances of her conceiving were slim. Nearly two years later, Cotter got pregnant again and gave birth to the couples son, Harvey, from her left uterus. She was put on bed rest for 19 weeks because doctors werent sure how her small uterus would hold twins.

(CNN) - Actor Ben Unwin, who made his name playing Jesse McGregor in Australian TV soap "Home and Away," has died at the age of 41. "Yesterday at midday police attended Minyon Falls, Whian Whian, responding to a concern for welfare. "Cast and crew from Home and Away are saddened to learn of the passing of former castmate, Ben Unwin," reads the statement. "Ben's work in the role of Jesse McGregor is remembered with much affection." And actress Ada Nicodemou, whose character Leah Patterson was romantically involved with Jesse McGregor in "Home and Away," also expressed her condolences.
