DETROIT – Actress Kerry Washington and her husband, former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha, will be heading to Michigan on Monday one day before Election Day, according to the Biden-Harris campaign. Washington and Asomugha speak at volunteer canvass launches at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. in Inkster and Taylor respectively, and take part in a voter mobilization event at 3 p.m. in Detroit, according to the campaign. The Traverse City event takes place 5 p.m. at Cherry Capitol Airport. The president stopped in Metro Detroit Sunday, campaigning in Washington Township. Biden made a stop in Detroit and Flint on Saturday along with former President Barack Obama.

DETROIT – Vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris took a moment Sunday to discuss how a Biden/Harris administration could impact Michiganders. Harris was in Metro Detroit to campaign for Joe Biden and visited Detroit, Troy and Pontiac. Harris spent decades working her way up from being an Alameda County deputy district attorney to the Attorney General of California. Senator for California in 2017 before she was announced as former vice president Joe Biden’s running mate in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. DETROIT – American singer and musician Lizzo will travel to Michigan this week to campaign on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris. According to Biden’s campaign, Lizzo is scheduled to speak at an event in Detroit, followed by another event in Harper Woods on Friday afternoon. Lizzo has also explicitly shown support for Former Vice President Biden and Harris on social media, and campaigned with Harris virtually last month. Both Biden and his wife, Former Second Lady Jill Biden, have recently visited Michigan to deliver remarks and connect with voters. He and Vice President Mike Pence have also recently delivered remarks to Michigan supporters -- some of which have garnered national attention due to controversies.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will return to Michigan on Friday, stopping in Southfield and Detroit, according to his campaign. The former vice president is scheduled to attend an event in Southfield around 2:30 p.m., where he will deliver remarks on “protecting and expanding access to affordable health care,” a press release reads Thursday. MICHIGAN Former Vice President Joe Biden will visit Michigan on Wednesday. Its the first time hes been in Michigan since the Michigan Primary on March 10. Further details on Bidens stop in Michigan have not been released yet.

According to the campaign, the ads, which Local4 was given advanced copies of, will feature women from the towns where the ads will be aimed. It didnt have to be this bad, Rose Dady, Biden for President Michigan Coalitions director, said in a release about the ad campaign. The President will, however, have to make up ground with women in Michigan, according to polling from August which showed Michigan women preferred Biden to Trump 50 percent to 37 percent. The Trump campaign announced it had reached 5 million voters in MI early this week and the Biden campaign has been promoting virtual events across the state with the election 2 months away.
