A Detroit family is on edge Monday night after they say they were targeted by gunfire that hit their home and parked vehicles.

Detroit police are on the hunt for a man who shot point blank at one of its officers and then proceeded to carjack a mom that had just arrived home with her children.

Police are looking for a 25-year-old man who was last seen on July 1 around 9:55 p.m.

DETROIT – A man was fatally stabbed Saturday night during an argument with his girlfriend. According to authorities, it happened at about 9 p.m. at a home located near the intersection of Birwood Street and Ellis Avenue. Police said a 58-year-old man had an argument with a 64-year-old woman that turned physical, resulting the in the woman fatally stabbing the man. DETROIT – A Detroit man went to the Local 4 Defenders for help because his neighbor was dumping raw sewage in their backyard. Chavone Demham admitted to dumping the sewage and told the city that she was in need of help. “It’s a program called Code Blue,” Bowser said. AdIn a typical year, Code Blue helps about 30 families. While the assistance directly helps Demham, it also helps all of the neighbors living on Birwood Street.

DETROIT – A local man said city officials wouldn’t help when he complained about his neighbor dumping raw sewage into the back yard. Something needs to be done about that sewage leaking into the backyard,” Scott said. Within hours of the Defenders contacting the city, an inspector -- along with Detroit police officers -- arrived to address the problem. The city said if the pumping of sewage does not stop immediately, they will be fined $500. DETROIT – Police are searching for a missing teen named Richanna Mosley. The 13-year-old was last seen on Thursday, Sept. 24 around 11 p.m. at her home in the 20400 block of Birwood in Detroit. Police say the teen’s mother was the last person to see her before she disappeared. The teen’s mother believes she ran away between the period of 11 p.m. on Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday. DETROIT FBI Special Agent in Charge Steve DAntuono announced during a news conference Wednesday a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the death of a 4-year-old boy in Detroit. Family members said the children were in bed when someone drove by and opened fire, hitting Nathaniel.
