Thanksgiving came early for the Washtenaw County community as on Thursday, Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti hosted its annual Thankful for You event at its George Gervin GameAbove Center.

The second annual “Thankful for You” will offer up meal kits, frozen turkeys, pies and other holiday staples during a drive-thru event at 11:30 a.m.
