This Friday, June 4th, is National Cheese Day. Now you’ve probably seen how to pair wine with cheese, and maybe even beer with cheese... but how about pairing cheese with other accouterments like nuts, berries, and jam? How do you make a killer charcuterie board at home?

When you think of cheese pairings, wine is usually the first drink to come to mind. But, Culture Cheese and Beer in Brighton is hoping to make beer the next big thing to pair with your charcuterie boards. The two said beer pairs well with cheese for a couple of reasons. Cheese and beer go through similar processes to be made, including being “cultured,” which is how the store got it’s name. Tati tried out a goat cheese with a light, slightly citrus beer.

Whether it’s for a game or a romantic dinner, there is one food that usually gets everyone to the snack table and that’s cheese! Cheese To Please creates gourmet grazing boards. They are made locally and incorporate other locally made ingredients and products. Owner, Missy Stines joined Jason live to talk about her grazing boards.
