According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, a gunman has barricaded himself inside a home in the 5600 block of Meadow Drive as of 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Officials say the situation began as a domestic altercation between the gunman and his parents. Family members were safely evacuated from the home Wednesday morning, but the gunman refused to come out and remained inside the home. The gunman is still barricaded inside the home.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and preparing food. The boil water advisory is expected to be resolved within 48 hours after water has been restored.

The rear ended vehicle was pushed into another vehicle," MSP said. The driver of the middle vehicle, a 61-year-old male from Canton Township, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
