DETROIT – Police are searching for 47-year-old Tosha Washington who was last seen on Dec. 28. Detroit police said Washington was last seen at about noon in the 14600 block of Cherrylawn Street. It was reported that she left in a 2002 burgundy Chevy Trailblazer to go to the store. Police said the vehicle has damage on the front passenger-side bumper and black tape on the passenger-side mirror. DETROIT – A Detroit father and a young man have been charged in a high-speed crash that took the life a 2-year-old child and critically injured two other kids. Michael Lipscomb Jr., 29, has been charged with second-degree murder, reckless driving causing death, and three counts of child abuse because prosecutors said his three children were in the backseat of his car. Jeffery Roberts, 20, has been charged with second-degree murder, reckless driving causing death and three counts of reckless driving causing serious impairment. Detroit police said Lipscomb and Roberts were drag racing when they crashed. Prosecutors said Lipscomb had his kids in the car when he was speeding on West Eight Mile Road and Cherrylawn Street in Detroit.

DETROIT Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Friday at 1:55 p.m. in Detroit. The crash happened in the area of 8 Mile Road and Cherrylawn Street. A 29-year-old man was driving a Dodge Challenger at a high rate of speed eastbound on 8 Mile Road when he collided into a 63-year-old woman driving a white Ford Escape. The driver of the Ford was taken to a local hospital and also listed in critical condition.
