She was sitting in the back seat of a Chevrolet Tahoe when the shots were fired, according to authorities. Her condition is unknown. Police continue to investigate the incident.

DETROIT An 18-year-old female was reportedly shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle on Detroits east side early Wednesday morning. Police say at about 1:29 a.m. the teenager was sitting in a Chevrolet Tahoe with her boyfriend in the 14800 block of Linnhurst Street when multiple shots were heard, destroying the rear windshield and striking the teen in the head. The teens condition is unknown at this time, but police say the wound was not fatal. Police did not yet say if the boyfriend was injured during the incident. Officials say suspects are unknown at this time.

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking for tips as they search for suspects in a Jan. 26 non-fatal triple shooting. Police said the shooting happened about 12:10 a.m. in the 18600 block of Grand River Avenue. The suspects exited a white Chevrolet Tahoe and fired shots toward a gas station, striking three victims. The suspects in a Jan. 26 non-fatal triple shooting were seen exiting white Chevrolet Tahoe. (Detroit Police Department)The victims were a 48-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Surveillance video shows a group of thieves breaking into and stealing from a party store in Southfield. It happened at Town and Country Liquor Party in Southfield overnight Thursday on 12 Mile Road. The video shows the crew arrive to the store in a black Chevrolet Tahoe and run to the front door, snapping a lock and busting the door open. Watch video of the incident above.
