Wolverines are matched up against the Huskies

The No. 1 ranked Michigan Wolverines have reached rarified air as they head to the College Football Playoff National Championship, where they will take on the No. 2 ranked Washington Huskies inside NRG Stadium in Houston.

One Metro Detroit family won't be rooting for the Wolverines, though, and it's not because they're Michigan State Spartan fans. Twin brothers Jayvon and Armon Parker graduated from Dearborn Public Schools but now play for the Huskies.

The administrators who manage the College Football Playoff will report on the progress of expansion talks to a presidential oversight committee on Monday.
