DETROIT A 24-year-old man was found dead from gunshot wounds inside a home on Detroits east side, police said. The discovery was made at 11:18 a.m. Monday at a home in the 9700 block of Traverse Street near Gratiot Avenue and Connor Street on Detroits east side, according to authorities. Officials announced the man dead at the scene, police said. Authorities dont have any information on suspects. No additional information was revealed.

DETROIT – For drivers who take I-94 through Wayne County, the summer isn't going to be easy. Bridge replacements and other work is going to have the freeway torn up in phases from Connor Street in Detroit all the way past Detroit Metro Airport to I-275.
