During the inspection, 15 large trash bags of drugs were discovered hidden in the rear of the hauler. During an x-ray exam of the hauler, CBP officers discovered several odd shapes in the rear of the hauler. The odd shapes turned out to be bags of marijuana. โThis seizure once again demonstrates the vigilance of CBP Officers โ even during these trying times,โ said Devin Chamberlain, Detroit Port Director.

The witnessing agent saw the note, approached an agent responsible for writing it and another agent who was laughing. The witnessing agent in the emails names two senior Border Patrol agents and five other agents who also saw the alleged incident occur. The witnessing agent took the note to the senior agent in charge that night but the senior agent took no action, the emails said. On Wednesday, Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan announced on Twitter that he was ordering an immediate investigation into offensive posts "that allegedly includes active Border Patrol personnel."
