The children of Dee Warner have filed a $100 million wrongful death lawsuit against her husband, Dale Warner, who is accused of killing the woman in 2021.

Per officials, Jaron Warner, Dee Warner’s stepson, has had his charges dropped against him.

The man accused of murdering his wife and hiding her body inside a large anhydrous tank in Lenawee County appeared in court Monday.

The family members charged in connection to Dee Warner’s murder are expected in court Monday morning.

Officials confirmed this week that they discovered the remains of Dee Warner on her husband’s property in Lenawee County more than three years after she went missing.

“It’s bittersweet at best, but certainly needed, and honestly unexpected after three and a half years,” said Gregg Hardy, Dee Warner’s brother.

The family, who had suspected Dale due to their toxic relationship, had been urging investigators to check the tanks for months.

According to the Jackson County Medical Examiner, the human remains that were found on the property of Dale Warner have been identified as his wife’s, Dee Warner.

"There is probable cause that Dee Warner died by homicide at the hands of the defendant, Dale Warner."

“One of the last things that my mom said to me was, ‘I watch Dateline like every night and he could do something like that to me,’” Rikkell Bock said.

Many people are determined to get answers about Dee Ann Warner, the 52-year-old who vanished last April. Family members suspect foul play, but the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department needs more to go on, and they’re renewing their request for help from the public.
