This week’s new entertainment releases include an album of rock songs by Dolly Parton, the first half of the final season of “The Crown” returns to Netflix and three dudes from “Saturday Night Live” get their first feature-film shot.

DETROIT Comedian Dave Chappelle tells a story about why Detroit is one of his favorite cities on Big Seans new album, Detroit 2.Chappelle, who has a history with Detroit crowds, told a story about how he bombed a show at the Fillmore several years ago. Theres never been a single time, not a, not a-one, that Ive ever been to Detroit, where it wasnt some kind of adventure, Chappelle recalls. And one of the reasons that Detroit is my favorite markets, is because the audiences in Detroit, for a comedian, I find them to be particularly challenging, Chappelle continues. But Citywide Poets is a program for Detroit kids that gives them an opportunity to flex their creative muscles. Citywide Poets is part of the InsideOut literary arts program and is an after school poetry troupe for Detroit teens. They offer mentorship from adult poets and writers who possess strong publication and performance credentials. Will Langford is the high school coordinator for InsideOut and Citywide Poets. Brown has stepped up for Citywide Poets with support in securing funding from the Knight Foundation -- and donated proceeds from his recent Bruiser Brigade Thanksgiving concert at the Majestic Theater.
