During the 14-day enhanced physical distancing, students are told to not socialize with others in person — on campus or off. AdThe orders apply to students living on campus and within the East Lansing area. More restrictions will be given to those living on campus in the future. Students are allowed to come to the campus for the following reasons:Accessing secure internet.

Students, faculty and staff were all sent an email letting them know about the spread of gastrointestinal illnesses. Multiple people have complained of symptoms including nausea. David Weismantel, an MSU physician does not believe the illness is food borne. The school is stepping up efforts to keep dorms and dining areas clean.
