Two teenagers have been charged after shots were fired at Detroit police officers during a traffic stop last week, officials said.

LAPEER, Mich. There have been multiple breaking and entering incidents at Luzis Lapeer Mini Storage on Davison Road that started the last few weeks of May and continued into June, according to the the Lapeer County Sheriffs Office. Multiple storage units at the business have been broken into, according to officials who say locks securing the individual storage units were cut to gain access. LAPEER COUNTY, Mich. – Police are investigating after a dismembered body was found Wednesday near a home on Davison Road in Lapeer County. Lapeer County Sheriff's officials said the incident started in a neighboring area and spilled into Lapeer County. When police arrived at the scene, they found a woman's dismembered body buried at a fresh gravesite. She has been identified as a 37-year-old Flint woman. The man Flint man who was taken into custody is being called a person of interest in the case.
