Approximately 250 feet of East Ann Street will close next week for construction.

A busy stretch of I-94 in Detroit will close for the weekend due to bridge work.

Path users are causing delays to construction at Ann Arbor's Gallup Park.

A portion of the Border-to-Border Trail will close for maintenance in Ann Arbor in August.

This month, parts of three different roads will be closed for improvements or repairs lasting through the end of June and into July.

Watch out for closures just blocks from each other in the downtown area.

ANN ARBOR – UPDATE: All lanes of this area of S. Main Street have reopened. Currently all lanes are closed between Madison and Packard as crews work to repair a sanitary sewer line, according to an update from the city of Ann Arbor. It is unclear at this time when the work will be completed, but we will update this story when the issue is resolved. ANN ARBOR – The city will be closing both directions of South Main Street between East William Street and Packard Street on Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to facilitate crane work. The city has posted this detour map so drivers are aware of what to expect. The closure will only affect a one-block stretch of road, but with Main Street being a major thoroughfare, the detours may slightly slow your commute. Access will be maintained for local businesses at all times during the construction work while pedestrians will also be detoured along the same route as vehicles. Emergency vehicles are also advised to take the posted detour below:

ANN ARBOR – If you’re driving in the downtown area, you’ll want to avoid the intersection of Liberty and First streets for the next couple of days. Liberty Street will be near the intersection of First Street starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday for road paving. Cars traveling on Liberty westbound will be detoured south onto Main Street, west onto William Street and north onto Second Street and then back onto Liberty. Cars traveling eastbound will be detoured south onto Second Street, east onto William Street, north onto Ashley Street and then back onto Liberty. Traffic between First and Main streets, Second and First streets and pedestrian traffic on one side of the street will be maintained.
