The Detroit Police Department says that two teens were shot on the city’s east side.

Law enforcement officers from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit police on Tuesday busted a person deemed “dangerous” with a large sum of drugs, officials said.

A 12-year-old boy was shot in an upstairs bedroom Monday evening at a home near Nottingham Road and Britain Avenue on Detroit’s east side.

DETROIT Detroit police are searching for an individual in connection with a hate crime on the citys east side. A home surveillance camera showed the individual spray painting ethnic intimidating language on the front walkway of a residence and on street signs nearby, according to a press release from the Detroit Police Department.
