The Detroit Tigers made their final free agent addition over the weekend, signing Michael Pineda to round out the starting rotation.

The Detroit Tigers could become legitimate playoff contenders this season if they make a couple more moves before the official start of spring training next week.

Everybody knows the Detroit Tigers aren’t done signing free agents this offseason, but with many of the top targets signing this week, when is the time to strike?

The deadline for MLB teams to extend qualifying offers to prospective free agents passed this weekend, and those decisions will have an impact on the Detroit Tigers as they hurtle toward an active offseason.

This will be the first meaningful offseason for the Detroit Tigers in half a decade, as the team hopes to take another leap from surprisingly competitive to legitimate playoff contender.
