Thursday brings another blast of cooler-than-normal air, with highs only in the mid-50s. A few showers will taper off during the afternoon and evening.

The Storm Prediction Center upped the game tonight, placing parts of Metro Detroit under an Enhanced Risk (level 3) of severe thunderstorms.

The weekend is ending with near-normal weather, but temperatures will jump into the 70s again on Monday. The warmer weather will arrive with rain and gusty winds.
