The last gas-powered muscle car from Dodge isn’t leaving the road without some squeals, thunder and crazy-fast speed.

The Dodge era of Chargers and Challengers is coming to an abrupt end.

A car crash turned into a gun battle on Detroit’s west side, with one man killed, and another rushed to the hospital. It happened Tuesday evening near Greenfield Road and West Outer Drive.

Police are searching for suspects wanted in connection with an attempted carjacking Saturday morning in the parking lot of Royal Express Coney Island in the 1800 block of 11 Mile Road.

One person was killed and another was badly injured when a stolen Dodge Challenger crashed into another vehicle on Detroit’s west side, police said.

A 20-year-old man was viciously beaten after the vehicle he was driving slammed into a Dodge Challenger.

DETROIT – Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash Monday at a construction zone on westbound Interstate 94 in Detroit near Van Dyke Avenue. Officials said the driver in a Dodge Challenger was believed to be traveling more than 100 miles per hour before hitting a Chevy Malibu and a utility pole, landing upside down. He always locks his car doors and takes the key fob with him to keep people from stealing it. “We’d seen the car wasn’t in the driveway on the camera. It took them 3 minutes, to get the sunroof open. He said the thieves took his car on a joy ride and crashed it.

DETROIT – Michigan State Police said a Detroit man wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in July was officially charged and arraigned for the incident. Valerian Kobaidze, 32, was arraigned Thursday on charges of operating while intoxicated causing death, fail to stop at accident when in fault resulting in death and reckless driving causing death. The incident happened on July 14 on Interstate 75 southbound near Seven Mile Road. While the case being reviewed, Kobaidze left the state of Michigan and went to New York. State troopers assigned to the Second District Fugitive Team picked Kobaidze up from the New York City Sheriff’s Office Wednesday and brought back to Michigan.

TAYLOR, Mich. – Taylor police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man in connection to a shooting at the Century Square Apartments in the area of Northline and Racho roads. Police said Mark Anthony Lane III, 20, allegedly wounded his 21-year-old girlfriend during an exchange gunfire with another man. Lane left the scene in a 2013 Dodge Challenger and is considered armed and dangerous. DETROIT Michigan State Police arrested a driver who was in a stolen vehicle in Detroit Sunday in the area of Interstate 94 and Van Dyke Road. Two other passengers in the stolen vehicle fled the scene, officials said. Police said a gun reported stolen was located in the vehicle. When Winston the French bulldog fell six stories and crashed through the sunroof of a car, he may have been OK, but the car wasn't. Ashley Haynes was renting the silver Dodge Challenger that little Winston fell through. Haynes told Inside Edition. She has a message for them: "You know I saved your dog's life, can you pay for my sunroof?" The dog's owners, Emma Heinrich and Dan Collins, told Inside Edition Haynes gave them an initial quote of $400 to repair the roof, which they said they agreed to pay.
