DETROIT – Days after a shooting at the Clora Funeral on East Seven Mile Road, Major Clora sat in a 36th District courtroom, officially charged in the fatal shooting of his cousin. Clora, let me say you’re not to possess a firearm while this case is pending.” said the judge presiding over the case. The 37-year-old funeral home owner plead not guilty to second-degree murder and a charge of felony firearm. He owns three businesses.”The judge issued Clora a $100,000 bond. Clora is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 20.

DETROIT – A 53-year-old man was killed in a shooting Monday outside of Clora Funeral Home. The shooting took place at about 10:35 a.m. Monday in the 5800 block of East Seven Mile Road in Detroit. Detroit police said the shooting occurred after an argument between a family member and someone working at the funeral home. DETROIT - Two men were shot Thursday night on Saratoga Street in east Detroit, near Gratiot Avenue and East Seven Mile.
