The former Eloise Psychiatric Hospital site in Westland will soon be home to a new hotel, restaurant and bar, thanks to a grant from the state of Michigan.

WESTLAND, Mich. This is the final weekend to take a tour of the former Eloise Psychiatric Hospital in Westland. Over the years paranormal encounters have been reported at the historic site. Paranormal investigators will be giving fun haunted tours of the hospital Saturday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 10. Tickets cost $65 a person. The county had been shopping the land for a couple of years prior to the agreement this week.
