Gretchen Whitmer signed emergency rules allowing the Michigan Employment Relations Commission (MERC) and the Michigan Public Service Commission (PSC) to conduct remote hearings. “Continuing the practice of remote hearings will help us continue to protect Michigan families, frontline workers, and small businesses,” Whitmer said. The emergency rule amendment will revise Rule 121 of the MAHS administrative hearing rules, Rule 792.10121, to allow MOAHR to continue to remotely conduct hearings on behalf of the MERC and the PSC. Read full article: Several marijuana vape cartridges sold in Detroit recalled after failing safety compliance testingDETROIT – Several marijuana vape cartridges that were sold in Detroit have been recalled after failing safety compliance testing for Vitamin E Acetate. The cartridges were manufactured before the Emergency Rules for marijuana products intended for inhalation were filed on Nov. 22, 2019. Affected vape cartridges will have a label that indicates the license number of the marijuana facility that sold the marijuana product. The recall affects marijuana products sold from Plan B Wellness on 8 Mile Road in Detroit.
