Give the best gift you can give this Mother’s Day by donating meals to our local hospital workers. Countless moms have been submitted to Thanking Frontline Workers by their proud children who desperately want to show their love, even from the distance many families must keep right now. Mothers amazed by and worried for their children who are working at the largest hospitals in the state, their floors newly converted to COVID units, are a large chunk of submissions we receive, too. Frontline workers are putting their lives at risk every day, working nonstop, sometimes without even thinking about a meal.

And thanks to that outpouring, more than 21,000 thousand of meals have been delivered to local healthcare, frontline and essential workers. WDIV Local 4 and ClickOnDetroit.com have launched Food4Frontline – a community-wide effort to help both frontline workers and local restaurants. “At the same time, we can support our local restaurant and store workers. Serve: We will then partner with local restaurants to order meals that will be distributed to those on the frontline. Meals for the frontline workers will be individually packaged.
