Police are seeking information about a 78-year-old woman who went missing in Washtenaw County.

A federal judge on Thursday sentenced the man who coordinated stashing nearly two dozen migrants into a Ford Expedition that crashed into a tractor-trailer, killing 13 people.

Ford is asking the owners of 350,000 vehicles in to take them to dealers for repairs in three recalls, including about 39,000 that should be parked outdoors because the engines can catch fire.

A woman was killed Monday when her SUV left the roadway and crashed into a wooded area in Shelby Township, officials said.

An innocent driver was killed and three others were hospitalized when a potentially drunken driver sped through a red light and caused a three-car crash at a Harper Woods intersection, police said.

Jose Cruz Noguez, 47, of Mexicali, was arrested Monday night as he crossed into the United States at the Calexico Port of Entry. He appeared Tuesday in federal court in El Centro and faces conspiracy and smuggling charges involving serious injury or placing lives in danger, according to a statement from the U.S. attorney's office. Cruz was taken into custody after another suspected smuggler was arrested at a California border station two weeks after the crash.

The youngest injured was a 15-year-old girl whose name and nationality were undetermined, according to California Highway Patrol. The Guatemala City woman lost consciousness. The Border Patrol said surveillance video showed the Expedition and a Chevrolet Suburban drive through an opening in the border wall about 30 miles (48 kilometers) east of the crash.

PONTIAC, Mich. – An armed man got inside a driver’s SUV at a stop sign in Pontiac, forced him to drive to another location to open a can of beer and then stole his vehicle, according to police. Oakland County deputies said a 48-year-old Pontiac man stoped at a sign sign at East Rundell Street and North Glenwood Avenue at 8:51 p.m. Monday (Feb. 22). When they arrived, the driver parked the Expedition and the armed man grabbed a can of beer, officials said. The armed man fled the scene in the vehicle, according to police. Officials said the armed man was in his 30s and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build and dreadlock-style hair with blonde tips.
