The Ford Motor Company Fund, the philanthropic arm of Ford Motor Company, and the Charles H. Wright Museum are offering barbershops in the Metro Detroit area the opportunity to compete for a $10,000 grant.

Ford Motor Company and its philanthropic arm Ford Fund will partner with the Yankee Air Museum to honor and thank teachers and educators during the Ford Fireworks on Monday, June 28.

DETROIT - Ford Motor Company Fund president Jim Vella will retire at the end of this year after a 31-year career. The Ford Fund is the automaker's philanthropic foundation. He has held multiple executive leadership positions, including vice president of corporate public affairs and chief of staff for Executive Chairman Bill Ford.
