Residents of a Sterling Heights senior apartment complex have been without heat for several days, including Friday night when a freeze warning was in effect.
Following freeze warning, temperatures expected to feel like fall for the weekend
Clear skies, dry air, and relatively light wind have allowed temperatures to fall near or below freezing this morning, so some of us are waking up to some frost.
Metro Detroit weather: Accumulating snow arrives tonight
Everything remains on track with the accumulating snow on the way.ย The only difference from 24 hours ago is that todayโs computer models have shifted some of the approaching systemโs most favorable dynamics a little farther south, so Iโve pared back the snow amounts a tad.ย Hereโs how things will play out:

Scattered showers will end this evening, and partly cloudy skies will eventually become mostly clear. How soon those clear skies develop will dictate if temps will get back close to freezing and give us another chance at frost. Highs in the mid-to-upper 50s (14 degrees Celsius). Not as cold, with lows in the mid 40s (7 to 8 degrees Celsius). Highs in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees (15 degrees Celsius).
