Police said a man slashed a woman across the chest with a knife because they bumped into each other on an Ann Arbor bus.

A woman was stabbed Wednesday on a bus in between the University of Michigan’s main and north campuses.

The fire covered several acres on an isolated peninsula of University of Michigan property near Mitchell Field off of Fuller Road.

The City of Ann Arbor is offering residents free wood chips while supplies last.

Over the next week, several streets around Ann Arbor will be closed for construction and maintenance repairs starting Thursday.
