A Detroit mother is hoping clues about her 6-month-old’s 2016 murder will help bring her closure.

Three members of the “4-Block” gang have been taken into custody in connection with the murder of a 7-year-old girl in Oakland County, officials said.

A Detroit high school was dismissed early Tuesday after a food fight during lunch led to multiple physical fights and sparked a police investigation.

Through the initiative, 41 people have been reportedly charged with federal offenses in Detroit, including narcotics-related and firearms-related offenses. Authorities say that as of August 31, Operation Legend has led to the arrests of more than 2,000 people -- with 476 of them charged with federal offenses -- in participating cities nationwide. One of the groups organized protests against Operation Legend turned violent, leaving a number of protesters injured or in custody. DETROIT – US officials on Wednesday provided additional details regarding “Operation Legend” -- which is bringing a number of federal agents to Detroit in the coming weeks. “Operation Legend continues and expands what we have been doing for decades, which is sending federal agents and money to Detroit to fight gun and gang violence,” Schneider said. The governor of Oregon did announce Wednesday that federal agents will begin leaving Portland. Family members of the Woods brothers didn’t want to talk on camera, but they said they plan to appeal.
