A hikers GoPro captured the insane moment she plunged down a 50-foot waterfall in Hawaii. Friesen had turned her GoPro camera on moments before she inched to the edge of a waterfall for a closer look. There was this little ridge on the waterfall right by left hand, I can still picture it in my head, and I was like, I'm gonna grab on.' And that's kinda when I knew it was happening and there was nothing I could do about it, she said. I could barely breathe, so that's why I knew something was wrong because my left lung had collapsed, she said.

A family is taking it as a sign from beyond after a diver found GoPro containing footage showing the the final, happy memories of a swimmer who had drowned two years earlier. Part of the day was captured on Ragland's GoPro camera, which was lost until recently, when diver Rich Aloha found it buried in muck at the bottom of the lake. Ragland's family said getting the video back was bittersweet, but they taking it as a sign. "Rich probably told God, 'Let's use Richard, Rich Aloha, to capture the GoPro just so my family would know I'm in there a little bit, I'm a part of us,'" said Richard's sister, Free Ragland. A diver found a GoPro buried at the bottom of a murky lake and discovered it contained the final, happy memories of a swimmer who had drowned two years earlier. Incredibly, he did come across a GoPro and, although it looked damaged, the memory card inside was salvageable. It contained videos of 22-year-old Richard Ragland splashing around with friends at a waterfall in 2017. Aloha tracked down a phone number for Ragland's parents and they met up so Aloha could return the camera. "They were just stunned, they were just staring at the GoPro in disbelief," Aloha said.
