A new restaurant has opened at the newly renovated David Whitney Building in Downtown Detroit.

The weekly “Bourbon Park” event will return to Grand Circus Park this week, bringing shops, music, drinks, and more to Downtown Detroit.

Buses will pick up and drop off riders at the D2A2 stop at Blake Transit Center and Grand Circus Park.

You and your pups can enjoy the movie “Secret Life of Pets” at Grand Circus Park.

Calling all bourbon lovers! “Bourbon Garden” is a weekly Thursday evening bourbon-themed event that returns to Detroit’s Grand Circus Park this week.

From Lincoln Center Theater that brought you The King & I and South Pacific, comes “a sumptuous new production of the most perfect musical of all time”

We're looking at data from 2019-2022 to see how foot traffic to Downtown Detroit attractions has fluctuated throughout the pandemic.

“It was totally different when I was a little girl. It’s beautiful now and it’s great to see that Detroit has revived and rejuvenated,” said Sybil Edwards. “It’s a wonderful place to be.”

The entire weekend event is free except for Saturday night’s charity gala where Sheryl Crow will perform. The proceeds will go to eight different charities that help children in need.

Events are taking place at six different parks downtown -- Campus Martius, Cadillac Square, Beacon Park, Capitol Park, Grand Circus Park and Spirit Plaza -- each with a specific kind of vehicle glistening in the bright sun.
