Avid runner Brenda Mack was thrilled to complete the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon last month. It wasn't the longest, but it still may be the most significant race she's run.

The 48th Dexter-Ann Arbor Run returns to the area this weekend.

The Ann Arbor Marathon has received city approval to take place in October.

The Dexter-Ann Arbor Run is set for Aug. 15.
