The National Weather Service also issued a heat advisory for Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties that will be in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday. Outside of Metro Detroit the same heat advisory is in effect for Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties. Sunday afternoon will be hot and sweltering in Metro Detroit. But that is really dependent on storm timing and cloud cover.

Highs again in the mid 90s (35 degrees Celsius), with the heat index possibly exceeding 100 degrees (38 degrees Celsius) during the afternoons. But highs should drop into the upper 80s (31 degrees Celsius), with more manageable humidityand lows Saturday night dropping into the mid 60s (19 degrees Celsius).
