Read full article: Prosecutor: No charges in connection with fire that destroyed Detroit Heidelberg Project houseDETROIT – The Wayne County Prosecutor denied to issue charges in connection with a fire Sept. 23 at Detroit’s Heidelberg Project, citing a lack of evidence. Fire ripped through a Heidelberg Project house at the corner of Heidelberg and Mount Elliott streets. The public art installment on the city’s east side has fallen victim to arson on numerous occasions since it was started in 1998 by artist Tyree Guyton. A 49-year-old woman had been arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant. There wasn’t enough evidence to prove she set the fire.

The project said they've turned over the surveillance video to police and the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm (ATF).
