Police have launched an investigation after a man was found murdered during the weekend in Inkster.

GARDEN CITY, Mich. – Police said a man and woman were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide early Wednesday afternoon in Garden City. At about 12:29 p.m., authorities received a call about a man firing a gun at a woman in front of a home on Windsor Street near Henry Ruff Road. Responding officers found the two people outside of a home from apparent gunshot wounds. Police said a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting was found nearby. Police said both people were not members of the community, and at the time of the incident, the woman was in the city working on a home on Windsor Street.

WESTLAND – A woman believed to be in her early 50s was killed in a fiery three-vehicle crash Tuesday night. The crash happened near the intersection of Henry Ruff and Van Born roads. The driver in that vehicle is hospitalized with injuries. The driver in a third vehicle sustained minor injuries.

WESTLAND, Mich. – A vehicle slammed into a house Tuesday morning near Henry Ruff Road and Avondale Street in Westland. More: Westland NewsThe homeowner said he was on his couch watching TV when he heard the tires. He said no one inside the home was hurt. The driver, however, was covered in blood and offered to give him money so he wouldn’t call police, the homeowner said. The driver then fled the area on foot.

INKSTER, Mich. - A Westland man was killed after crashing his motorcycle into a bus while fleeing police in Inkster on Tuesday night. MSP said their preliminary investigation revealed that an Inkster police officer saw a motorcycle on Middlebelt Road that ran a red light in front of them. Officers pursued the motorcycle northbound on Henry Ruff Road, where the motorcycle disregarded a red light and ran into the side of a SMART bus. The motorcycle driver was transported by EMS to a local hospital and was pronounced dead. The driver has been identified as a 40-year-old man from Westland.

INKSTER, Mich. - A person was shot Monday morning at an apartment complex in Inkster. Police were at the building near Carlysle and Andover streets, just east of Henry Ruff Road.
