Ann Arbor police are searching for the suspects accused of assaulting someone due to their religious background.

Fire crews extinguished more than a dozen small blazes in Ann Arbor on Monday night after the University of Michigan won the national football championship game.

Officers found the 21-year-old student with significant head injuries who was then transported to University of Michigan hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Several streets and roads will be closed between 3 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to accommodate the event.

Several streets will be going down to one lane through the first week of August for road improvements.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Starting Monday, numerous road closures will begin impacting traffic around Ann Arbor and will continue through November. Closures include the intersection on Miller Avenue and First Street, and parts of West Madison Street, South Fifth Avenue, Holl Street, South Division Street and East Hoover Avenue. To avoid the intersection, westbound Miller Avenue traffic will be detoured to Main Street then westbound on Huron Street to Seventh Street and back to Miller Avenue. Traffic heading east will experience the reverse by being detoured to Seventh Street, eastbound on Huron Street to Main Street and then back to Miller Avenue. Construction closures on West Madison Street, South Fifth Avenue, Holl Street, South Division Street and East Hoover Avenue are scheduled to be closed through 5 p.m. on Nov. 30.

Southbound Fifth Avenue traffic will be detoured west on Madison Street, south on Main Street, and east on Hill Street back to Fifth Avenue. Northbound Fifth Avenue traffic will be detoured west on Hill Street, north on South Main Street, and east on East Madison Street to South Fifth Avenue. Westbound vehicle traffic on Washington Street traveling towards First Street will be detoured southbound on Main Street, westbound on Liberty Street, then northbound on Third Street back to Washington Street.

Local 4 has obtained the police report regarding the Zavier Simpson crash last month in Ann Arbor.

According to city officials: "During this closure, the contractor will detour traffic westerly on East Eisenhower Parkway, southerly on South State Street, and easterly on West Ellsworth Road back to Stone School Road. One-way traffic will be maintained on Stone School Road through the construction area with one lane operating in the northbound direction." According to city officials: "Vehicles traveling east will be detoured south onto East University then east on Oakland Avenue then north on Church and back to Hill Street. Westbound traffic will be detoured south onto Church then west onto Oakland then north onto East University back to Hill Street." Pedestrians will have access to both sides of Hill Street, and local residents will maintain access at all times.
