Ask any parent with a child who plays youth hockey, and you will likely hear one word a lot: expensive, as the cost piles up quickly from equipment to ice time, but not at Detroit PAL because their goal is to make hockey open to everyone.

The Detroit Historical Museum is now giving hockey fans an inside look at the 1997 Red Wings’ historic season with all the sights and sounds of being back on the ice.

The arena bearing his name is no more, but there’s a new tribute to sports icon Joe Louis taking shape going up not too far from the site of the old arena.

Steve Yzerman has his new coach for the Detroit Red Wings, and he didn’t need to look too far to find him.

We will continue the fight of this terrible pandemic in his honor.”Riney was a mentor and close friend of Stoudamire.

It was tough when the Red Wings Season abruptly ended this year, so it was nice to see each other again, six feet apart of course.
