A Monroe County pastor has been making a difference in her community for years, and now she’s set to go on an adventure to reunite a man with his long-lost family.

Not a single person Local 4 spoke to Wednesday (May 25) was happy with how a more than likely homeless man was assaulted in what we now know has become a viral video. The footage shows the man asleep on the sidewalk when another person stomps on a bottle that spewed pop into the sleeping man’s face.

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. A homeless man beloved by business owners in Birmingham was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the road, police said. Birmingham police said the man was killed overnight Friday while crossing Woodward Avenue at Forest Avenue, near Maple Road. The 40-year-old man lived in Birmingham for more than a decade, business owners said.
