Their signature slaw dog is an all-beef hot dog covered with seasoned ground beef, smothered in a cheese sauce, topped with creamy coleslaw and spices. The slaw dog is far from the only hot dog on the menu.

The site for the upcoming Portillos restaurant is located on Hall Road, a busy restaurant corridor in Macomb County. Once complete, the restaurant will be the first Portillos location to feature a garage-like environment.
