The same goes for the Bird Center of Washtenaw County, which is near capacity with 125 birds. Because of coronavirus, public visitation isnt allowed at the Howell Nature Center and that means no money is coming in. Dana DeBenham just retired from the nature center in January but she back helping heal animals for release.

Officers from the South Lyon Police Department came across the animal while responding to an injured dog complaint near a high school. A post on the South Lyon Police Department’s page said the fox’s owner was found. The arctic fox is also known as the white fox, polar fox and ice fox, according to the Detroit Zoo. During the winter, their fur color is white and during the summer it turns to a brownish-gray, which allows them to remain camouflaged year round.
