Authorities say two inmates in a Virginia jail used primitive tools to create a hole in the wall of their cell and escape and were found hours later at an IHOP restaurant nearby.

Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation wants to demolish the long vacant, former IHOP at 19505 Grand River Avenue in Detroit.

The breakfast food chain unveiled a spooky menu ahead of the release of "The Addams Family" movie. The menu includes Wednesday's Web-Cakes, Morticia's Haunted Hot Chocolate, Gomez's Green Chile Omelette, Uncle Fester's Chocolate Ice Scream Shake and a Kooky Kids Combo. The limited-edition menu will be available through Nov. 3.

WOODHAVEN, Mich. - A woman from Columbus, Ohio, said her vape pen caused a fire that destroyed her SUV in the parking lot of a Woodhaven IHOP restaurant. When she took the batteries out of her vape pen charger, sparks flew and started a fire in her SUV. "Definitely be careful with vape batteries," Mounts said. Mounts has contacted the vape pen manufacturer concerning the incident. A relative picked her up from the parking lot about an hour after the fire, she said.
