Additionally, throughout the season, players will wear warm-up shirts that display Black Lives Matter on the front and Say Her Name on the back. Black Lives Matter will also be prominently displayed on courts during games.

The first-year Chicago Sky assistant replied that he was logging in as they were speaking. While they have been living apart the first two weeks in the bubble, they have gotten together for a few family meals. The two met years ago in Germany when Brondello was playing and Lange was a young assistant coach on that team. Theyve coached together in San Antonio and in Russia and Lange is an assistant for Brondello with theustralian national team.

With almost 140 players being tested in that timeframe, only seven tested positive for COVID-19. According to the WNBA, players who have tested positive will remain in self isolation until she has been cleared by a physician and has followed public health protocols. Players and staff will be arriving at the bubble location, which is IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The 12th team -- the Indiana Fever -- will not be arriving for another five days due to CDC health protocols.

WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert told the AP last month that the league was considering a handful of scenarios that included playing at one or two sites. Engelbert told the AP once again on Tuesday that the league has talked about a number of options, but declined to confirm whether IMG Academy or MGM topped the list of possible destinations. IMG Academy is in Bradenton, Florida about 100 miles from Disney World near Orlando where the NBA is negotiating to restart its season in July. The commissioner did confirm one of many topics of discussion with the union: Players were paid Monday and will receive another check in a couple of weeks.
