Hundreds of Indian Americans came out to Novi on Saturday in honor of India’s Independence.

India Day is a celebration of India's Independence culture and traditions filled with tastes, sounds and sights of India. More than 30,000 people are expected to attend the event. It will feature music, dance, a wide range of authentic spicy Indian food, parade and more. The event is taking place at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
