Two people have died and a third has been critically injured in a shooting at a Lake Michigan beach pier in southwestern Michigan.

A newly released video captures a woman screaming in pain after reportedly being struck in the head by a piece of metal at an Ohio amusement park.

One person died and another victim was injured in a shooting that happened on Conant Street near United Grill Coney Island in Detroit around 2:49 a.m. Sunday, police say.

Detroit police are searching for a driver wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a 65-year-old man critically injured at 10 a.m. Friday in the area of West Seven Mile Road and Telegraph.

The gunman left the location after the hotel worker intervened then came back and started shooting the 61-year-old victim. DETROIT – On Saturday, a worker at the Downtown Detroit Baymont Inn and Suites was shot and injured after trying to break up a fight between a man and woman. Police added that the gunman was having a verbal altercation with the woman when the hotel worker got involved. The gunman left the location after the hotel worker intervened then came back and started shooting the 61-year-old victim. Police describe the gunman as a 140 pound Black man who is 5 feet, 2 inches tall.

DETROIT – A man was critically injured during a road rage shooting that happened on Detroit’s west side at around 8 p.m. Friday, according to police. Police say the incident happened in the area of Seven Mile and Santa Barbara after two drivers started shooting at each other and one was struck. A woman and children were inside one of the vehicles involved. The shooter was inside of a dark colored Impala that drove away from the scene. DETROIT – On Tuesday afternoon a 44-year-old woman was fatally shot while in a vehicle with her 10-year-old son who was injured and survived. The mother was visiting from Ohio when the shooting happened. “Everything you would want in a friend and family member, that was her,” said a relative of the mother. DETROIT – A 29-year-old woman left a 27-year-old man critically injured after stabbing him at 2:45 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Parsons in Detroit. Police say the victim was stabbed during an argument with the woman. The woman who knew the victim was taken into police custody and is being held at the Detroit Detention Center. ELBERTA, Mich. – A third person has died and a fourth remains in critical condition following a shooting at a home in northern Michigan’s Benzie County, police said. Undersheriff Gregory Hubers said one of the four people shot Friday died at the Munson Medical Center, where the remaining shooting victim was in critical condition, WPBN/WGTU-TV reported. Hubers said Friday that a mother and her adult son had died in Friday's shooting, while the father and another son were rushed to a hospital. Hubers said investigators believe the motive for the shooting stemmed from problems within the household. The shooting occurred in Elberta, a village tucked between Lake Michigan and Betsie Lake.

DETROIT – Police are searching for an unknown shooter who injured a 43-year-old man on Saturday, Oct. 25 during a shooting. The shooting happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 14300 block of Maddelein Street in Detroit. Police say the victim was getting out of his car when shots were fired by the shooter from the inside of an unknown vehicle. The victim suffered a grazed wound and was released at the scene by medics. ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A father in Roseville want parents to be vigilant after his 8-year-old daughter was hospitalized trying to imitate something she saw on TikTok. Doctors said they had never seen anything like it when Dhakota was brought in after swallowing a quarter. The video was a magic trick that included a die. “I didn’t know how bad the situation was until they brought the x-ray back and I saw the quarter right there in her esophagus. “I could’ve lost my kid.”Dhakota is out of the hospital and is still a little sore.

According to police, the victim walked up to an older model truck and began talking to a man inside. The victim was about to sell the man inside the truck marijuana, according to police. As the victim was standing and talking, another man got out of the truck, took the marijuana and then shot him. The first suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s who was wearing all black. The second suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and armed with a handgun.

DETROIT – A 3-year-old girl who was critically injured in a house fire that happened in the 8800 block of Otsego Street in Detroit Thursday morning died Friday afternoon, according to the Detroit Fire Department. A do-not-resuscitate order was given to the critically injured child before she died Friday, the DFD added. Officials say four other children were injured including a 10-year-old boy, a 9-year-old boy, a 6-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. Those four children suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to a hospital. The children’s mother was in the home at the time and refused to be taken to a hospital.
