Police say a 39-year-old woman living in the 16600 block of Fairmount Drive heard a strange noise coming from above her. When she went to investigate the noise, she discovered a 19-year-old male in her attic. Officials believe the suspect was hiding in the attic in an attempt to burglarize the home. Local 4 has been told that the homeowner is cooperating with police and their investigation.

Police were called to the 900 block of Bedford Road at 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday on the report of a home invasion. The suspect broke into an attached garage and went into the home, the door had been left unlocked from the garage, police said. The homeowner was on the couch at the time the suspect broke in and the homeowner caught the suspect. When caught by the homeowner, the intruder took off on foot.
