A Detroit man has been charged after he swerved onto a sidewalk and killed a 32-year-old mother who was walking to a nearby store, officials said.

32-year-old Iris Liciaga was out walking on May 16 like she always did. Whether it was to her job as a custodian at Harms Elementary school, or to the store.
