Adam, a new film from Mike Young, features actors Aaron Paul and Jeff Daniels, and it all takes place right here in Detroit. Young wrote the screenplay based off of Niskar’s journal entries. Young says he was drawn to the story by the notes of comedy that could be found in Niskar’s writing, even in the midst of tragedy. Young has worked in stand-up comedy for 20 years. Young hopes that the film can help bring the film incentive back to Detroit, which he says is an incredibly versatile filming location.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. Jeff Daniels will perform a virtual concert at The Ark in Ann Arbor on July 27. The 8 p.m. concert will include original songs and personal stories from the actor, director and singer-songwriters stage and movie career. After the concert, there will be a 15 to 30 minute Q&A session where Daniels will answer audience questions. Michigan native Jeff Daniels will play former FBI Director James Comey in an upcoming limited series on Showtime. Daniels will star along side Brendan Gleeson, who is playing President Donald Trump.
