The Detroit Fire Chief was involved in a crash while responding to a fire alarm Friday morning.

The Detroit Police Department said they’ve seized a gun and drugs and made over 40 arrests after conducting a major sting.

A stretch of 14 Mile Road was closed for several hours following the crash.

Eastbound lanes of M-59 were closed in Oakland County on Monday morning after a crash involving three vehicles.

The Detroit Fire Department said it happened around 10:30 a.m. on John R near Woodward and Alfred Street, about a block away from Little Caesars Arena.

The hunt for a killer is on after two men were gunned down Friday inside their vehicle along John R between 8 and 9 Mile roads.

DETROIT – A child riding a four-wheeler on Detroit’s east side was struck by a car and killed Saturday. DETROIT – A body was found Tuesday morning after a house fire on Minnesota Street on Detroit’s east side. Police have not released any additional information. The house is on Minnesota Street near John R.

Medics were called to the scene at 6 Mile Road and John R after a fight broke out at a liquor store. After being placed inside the back of an ambulance, the man broke the windows and escaped.
