On March 10, the state confirmed its first two cases of COVID-19. The first two reported cases in the Henry Ford Health System were identified March 11. Experts said 77% of patients required hospitalization, while 40% required the intensive care unit. Overall, 16% of COVID-19 patients died within 30 days of being seen.
